Abstract

Abstract: The ozonolysis of ethylene to ethylene ozonide was studied in a variety of solvents. The cross-ozonide yields, aldehyde-insertion yields, secondary kinetic isotope effects, and reaction stereochemistry were evaluated by using mass spectroscopy and microwave spectroscopy to follow isotopic labels.
