Abstract

Conclusion In this paper we have initiated a comprehensive study of metal-diolefin interactions. We have shown that relatively small conformational energy effects can have a major influence on the kinetics and thermodynamics of complex formation. We are now expanding the scope of this work to other diene systems and to calorimetric measurements of the enthalpies of diene complexation reactions.
