Abstract
Abstract Nickel nanoparticles have been found to activate primary alcohols used for the α- alkylation of ketones or in indirect aza-Wittig reactions. These processes involve hydrogen transfer from the alcohol to the intermediate α, β-unsaturated ketone or imine, respectively.
