Abstract
The Michael-type reaction of copper-catalyzed trialkylaluminium reagents with α, β- unsaturated carbonyl compounds is a useful and simple procedure for the transfer of hydrocarbon substituents. The scope of this process and the effect of chlorotrimethylsilane as additive were investigated.
