Abstract

The syntheses of methyl 12-(2-anthryl) dodecanoate, methyl 14-(2-anthryl) tetradecanoate, and methyl 17-(2-anthry1) heptadecanoate have been achieved. Both'H and 13C chemical shifts and Tl values for carbons in the systems have been recorded.
