Abstract

The present study was concerned with the fate of the carbonyl and alkoxy hydroperoxide fragments derived from the ozonolysis of olefins subsequent to reductive amination of the total ozonolysis mixture. Our experience has shown that the isolation of the carbonyl compound1 is not necessary for maximum conversion of the carbonyl compound to the respective amine.
