Abstract

Recent descriptions of the preparation of 1, 3, 5-hexatriene1t2 have presented more consistent and complete data on its properties than have many other past rep0rts. l These recent preparations have both been characterized as the trans is0mer.~. 4 In only one case3c has a definite claim been made of the preparation of the cis isomer.
