Abstract

A Ru-catalyzed direct arylation of benzylic sp3 carbons of acyclic amines with arylboronates is reported. This highly regioselective and efficient transformation can be performed with various combinations of N-(2-pyridyl) substituted benzylamines and arylboronates.
