Abstract

Conclusions From our analysis of the resonance Raman and IR spectra of the MOEC complexes, we have shown that the vibrational modes of metallochlorins, while retaining many characteristics of metalloporphyrins including core size and peripheral substituent sensitivity, cannot be assigned by direct comparison with the normal modes of metalloporphyrins.
