Abstract
Twenty-four carbamates which are derivatives of 8-phenylethylarnine, a-methyl-8- phenylethylamine, 2-aminopyridine and 3-aminopyridine have been prepared by two methods:(a) action of alkyl chlorocarbonates on the selected amine and (b) by the use of the Hofmann bromamide reaction.
