Abstract
The reaction of polyfluorinated ketones with chlorofluoromethylenetriphenylphosphorane,( CeH5) gP= CFCl, generated in situ from sodium dichlorofluoroacetate and triphenylphosphine, provides a general, one-step route to a-substituted 1-chloroperfluoro olefins.
