Abstract

Summary Both the'H and I3C ('HJ NMR spectra of isopropyldimethylamine decoalesce at very low temperatures and, at about 94 K, show two different subspectra. The major subspectrum (72-77%) is assigned to the CI-symmetric enantiomers that have one isopropyl methyl group anti and the other gauche to the lone pair (AG and GA conformations).
