Abstract

Pyrrolophenanthridine derivative, obtained from Ama- ryllidaceae, have shown anticancer activity [2-51, but vir- tually nothing is known about the pharmacological pro- perties of pyrrolo[ 1,24phenanthridines, since the reports on this ring system are limited only to the synthesis.
