Abstract

It has become increasingly apparent in recent years that obesity is a major health hazard in the United States and its control in individuals with diabetes and heart conditions is particularly desirable. 1 In the overall management of obesity the anorectic drugs2 continue to occupy a useful role by diminishing the desire for intake of food.
