Abstract

antineoplastic agents, we required a method for the synthesis of certain polyfunctional pyrrolo [1, 2-a] quinolines. This led us to investigate Reissert compounds derived from quinolines as precursors for 1, 3-dipola1 species which could be used to prepare pyrrolo [1, 2-a] quinolines.
