Abstract

Experimentallo Isolation of Pellitorine.-6070 g. of hely ground, dry pellitory root was extracted in a Soxhlet extractor with Skellysolve A. The solution was concentrated to ca. 700 ml. and extracted three times with 150-ml. and twice with 100-ml. portions of nitromethane.
