Abstract
We now find that this method can be applied to the preparation even of some of the halogenated pinacols with considerable syccess. The decisive color effects given by some of our pinacols afforded an opportunity to test, by the application of Beer's law, the hypothesis that halomagnesium pinacolates dissociate into ketyls
