Abstract

Abstract A method for covalent functionalization of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) was developed using the free radicals generated through Bergman cyclization of enediyne- containing compounds. Four enediyne-bearing Frechet type dendrimers were synthesized in good quantities and characterized.
