Abstract
Eighteen chiral analogues of the chiral fluoroether anesthetics desflurane, isoflurane, and enflurane are synthesized and studied by capillary GC on four cyclodextrin-derived stationary phases. Trends in separability and elution order of enantiomers are related to structure and absolute configuration.
