Abstract

Abstract This paper describes the synthesis of the various picrylamino-and nitro-substituted furazans and bifurazanyls. Except for 3, 4-bis (picrylamino) furazan, which was obtained by nitrating 3, 4-dianilinofurazan, the picrylaminofurazans were prepared by condensing the appropriate amino-furazan with picryl fluoride in the presence of triethylamine.
