Abstract

Different types of 4, 5-disubstituted 1, 2, 4-triazole-3-thiones were prepared by microwave irradiation as well as by a classical method. The beneficial effect of microwave irradiation on the dehydrative cyclization of thiosemicarbazides in different reaction media is described.
