Abstract
Thiocyanates, one of the most fundamental groups of organo- sulphur compounds, are useful synthetic intermediates for heterocyclic compounds and are of some biological interest. 1 Aromatic thiocyanates have long been prepared from diazo- nium ions and metal thiocyanates.
