Abstract

Higher triallryl esters of 1.2, 4-butrnetricarboxylic acid are known to be effective plasticizers for poly (viny1 chloride) resins.'A variety of such materials were prepared (Table I), most of which are new compounds, for evaluation in this application. In general, these plasticizers exhibit excellent low-temperature properties and low volatility.
