Abstract

Abstract Ionic liquids (ILs) incorporating cyclic phosphonium cations are a novel category of materials. We report here on the synthesis and characterization of four new cyclic phosphonium bis (trifluoromethylsulfonyl) amide ILs with aliphatic and aromatic pendant groups.
