Abstract
A method is described for the enrichment of very long chain unsaturated fatty acids from total fatty acids of Ximenia oil and their identification as picolinyl esters by means of liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry with atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (LC– MS/APCI).
