Abstract

Picamilon (an original drug synthesized at the "Vi- taminy" Research and Production Association [I]) is an N-ni- cotinoyl derivative of GABA (Ia). Experience gained in the clinical use of this drug shows that it combines pronounced vasodilatation properties with nootropic effects and tranquil- izer activity [2 - 5].
