Abstract
Oligo (ethylene oxide) chains were introduced into the phenyl ring of the poly (phenylene vinylene)(PPV) derivatives to obtain electronic and ionic conductive liquid crystalline PPV derivatives. Thermal decomposition of all PPV derivatives occurred before isotropic melt.
