Abstract

To this solution, 100 mL of an aqueous solution of NaBH,(1.9 g, 0.050 mol) and EHDMABr (0.0006 mol) was added and stirred vigorously for 1 h under a N2 atmosphere. The organic layer was separated and treated with 20 mL of 6 N HC1, and then washed thoroughly with distilled water. The solution was dried over anhydrous MgS04, the solvent was then evaporated, and a pale yellow solid (2.36 g) was obtained. The solid was recrystallized ...
