Abstract

To the best of our knowledge, intermolecular hydroamination reactions catalyzed by copper complexes were only reported for reactions with alkenes containing electron- withdrawing substituents (Michael acceptors). 10 Following our recent discovery of copper(II) triflate as an effective catalyst for the addition of O−H bonds to norbornene, 11 we initiated a study to develop the corresponding hydroamination reactions.
