Abstract

Abstract O-Acylamidoximes and acyloximes can be considered as activated esters which are useful acylating agents. A number of activated esters are compared in their action on benzylamine. Their acylating power is directly related to the acidity of the OH group of the leaving species (alcohol or oxime respectively).
