Under the ordinary conditions found successful for condensing halogenophenylarsonic acids 2-chloro-5-aminophenylarsonic acid did not condense with itself, isoamylamine, ethanolamine or p-chlorophenol, and its acetyl derivative did not react with aniline or p- chlorophenol.
