Abstract

Abstract Monoalkylamino-and dialkylaminodimethylchlorosilanes are easily formed by reaction of dimethyldichlorosilane with the double of primary or secondary amines. They are very hygroscopic. The monoalkylaminoderivatives tend to selfdecomposition. The reaction with methylamine leads as expected to dialkylamino-methylamino-dimethylsilanes, whereas ammonia splits off the alkylamino as well as the dialkylamino groups and gives ...
