Abstract

A novel stereospecific route for DL-~ eo-2-aniino-1-phen~-ll-chloro-propan~-3-ol and DL- norephedrine has been developed. 12 number of synthetic route^^-^ have been devised for the preparation of the antibiotic chloramphenicol.
