Abstract

Liltenipled preparation of angelovl chloride. To sodium ailgelate (1. C, g.) was added slowly with stirring phosphorus oxychloride (1.6 ml.).? The suspension was allowed to stand at room temperature overnight and was then filtered. The inorganic, residue was washed with tenzene, and the filtrate and washings were combined and concentrated under reduced pressure at room temperature to a nonvolatile liquid acid chloride residue.
