Abstract

Synthetic transformations of cyclododecene (I) have been studied in sufficient detail [1]. This compound has become accessible due to development of large-scale manufacture of cyclododeca-1, 5, 9-triene by trimerization of butadiene over titanium-and nickelcontaining catalysts.
