Abstract

Abstract Monofluoro-oxaloacetate (FOA) was prepared from condensation of ethyl monofluoroacetate with diethyl oxalate, then hydrolysis of the ethyl ester. Difluoro- oxaloacetate (F 2 OA) was prepared by fluorination with ClO 3 F on ditertiobutyl oxaloacetate and hydrolysis of the tertiobutyl ester.
