Abstract

The following resolution of 1 and the conversion of the optically active salts to the corresponding free bases is typical of those listed in Table 11. When two enantiomers of the resolving acid were used the second salt listed was prepared from crude partially resolved base recovered from the mother liquors from the crystallization of the first salt.
