Abstract

Fluorescent conjugates of N-benzyloxycarbonyl protected γ-aminobutyric acid were prepared by coupling to its C-terminus several polyheteroaromatic, based on the oxobenzopyran skeleton (trivially known as coumarin) and polyaromatic labels, such as naphthalene and pyrene.
