Abstract

Abstract: Among the six different zeolites examined, H-beta is demonstrated to be a highly efficient and selective catalyst for the per-O-acetylation of various mono-and disaccharides and methyl glycosides. Key words: zeolites, acetylation, sugars, methyl glycosides
