Abstract

H"C$S2-C_-H ;c=o __ Hz' & H-CHB i CH, ... Kareo = 0.126 (111) (VI K3mo = 0 I17 absorption for hydroxyl, either associated or un- associated. The carbonyl absorption is that of a normal ketone. These data indicate that both the infrared and ultraviolet absorption spectra of the new com- pound are in accord with the keto structure (111).
