Abstract

Authentic Materials.-Methyl tetrahydrofuroate, a-phenyltetrahydrofuran, and a, a'- bistetrahydrofuranyl were prepared by catalytic hydrogenation of methyl furoate, g by the methods of Shima, et al.,'O and Nitsui, et al., ll respectively.
