Abstract

The oxidation of aliphatic ketone monoalkylhydrazones RIRzC= NNHR~ with peracetic acid furnished azoacetates and azoxyacetates of the types R1R2C (O2CCHa) N= NR3 (1) and RIR& (OtCCH3) N (O)= NRa (2), respectively.
