Abstract

In a broad programme of developing efficient, selective and eco-friendly synthetic methods for pharmacologically important moieties, herein, we report a simple, improved and one-pot procedure for the synthesis of substituted amidophenols catalyzed by iodine under ambient temperature with good yields (Scheme 1).
