Abstract

Bichromophoric compounds giving, after photoexcitation, a locally excited state (LE) rapidly followed by an intramolecular charge transfer (CT) state were designed using a Paddon- Row type synthesis. The electronaccepting end of the CT state is chosen in order to play the
