Abstract
Spectra of the SF2 radical were observed between 295 and 495 nm by 2+ I, 2+ 2, and 3+ 1 resonance-enhand multiphoton ionization (REMPI) spectroscopy. Vibrational progressions associated with two Rydberg states were assigned. The b IB,(4s) Rydberg state was characterized with the spectroscopic values w',(al sym str)= 991 (12) cd, d2 (al bend)= 361 (24) cd, and To= 54433 cm-I.
