Abstract

Twelve novel unsymmetrical cryptands (1-12) containing various units (methylene, 2- methylenylpropylene, pyridine2, 6-diyldimethylene, 0-and m-xylylene) each in two bridges have been synthesized by a onestep cyclization procedure.
