Abstract

In continuation of our work [1] with imidazole ring which were very important in living systems like vitamin B12. Imidazole also forms a part of some important compounds such as purine, adenine, xanthine, guanine, co-enzyme-a. It is also distributed in essential amino acid, eg, 1-histidine. Imidazoles possess, various biological activities, viz., antibacterial [2, 3], antifungal [4], anti-inflammatory [5], antihistaminic [6], and hypertensive [7]. ...
