Abstract

A Knoevenagel one-pot synthesis of 6-amino-4-oxo-8-(2-thienyl)-3-[2-(2-thienyl) vinyl]-4H- pyrimido [2, 1-c][1, 2, 4] triazine-7-carbonitrile 2 via the reaction of 3-amino-6-[2-(2-thienyl) vinyl]-1, 2, 4-triazin-5 (4H)-one 1 with thiophene-2-carbaldehyde and malononitrile under
