Abstract

Abstract A series of 2-(acylamino) benzenesulfonamides was prepared. Their anti- convulsant effects on two convulsives (electro-shock and pentetrazol) were studied. The structure/effect relationships were compared with those of a series of isomeric 2- aminobenzenesulfon-N-acylamides and of 2-nitrobenzenesulfon-N-acylamides. The possible influence of pK a and log P was examined.
