Abstract
In the natural photosynthetic centers of bacteria and plants, antenna chromophores absorb solar light and transfer the excitation energy to the reaction center by highly efficient singlet– singlet energy transfer.[1–6] Spatial organization of individual chromophores is key to such efficiency: chromophores need to be separated enough to minimize selfquenching without sacrificing the dipole–dipole couplingmediated energy transfer.[1, 2] In addition to its ...
